StudioMobile – Accent on Action (SMAA) was registered in 1999 by six feminist individuals
The mission of SMAA is advancement of women’s and other marginalized groups rights through creating and using audio-visual materials. StudioMobile Accent on Action produces documentaries for educational purposes, TV programs and mobile educational activities. The Main tool used by the organization to promote Human Rights and gender equality is production of documentaries. Documentaries of SMAA are widely used by local and international organizations, educational institutions at their trainings and seminars related to Gender Equality and other social issues. In addition, since 2000, the organization's documentaries have been included in the curricula of Lela Gaprindashvili's course at Ivane Javakhishvili State University, Tbilisi, Georgia. Throughout the years, StudioMobile has been taking part in different local and international film festivals.
The following documentaries were created by StudioMobile in different years: Still My Child (2016), Inga (2015),Vachnadze Street (2014), Mom, Dad, I’m Gay (2013), The Price of Being ME (2011), Qedeli (2010), All-Important (2008), Codes and Verses (2006), Where Are You My Suliko (2006), Dress Rehearsal (2004), I Don’t Know (2004), Invisible (2003), To Be a Worthy Woman (2001), etc.
